The Leiste Festival is a multi-day microfestival taking place from August 14-16, 2026, on a field in Kandel (Pfalz).

From 2023 to 2025, Leiste was held as a private gathering; in 2026 it will officially be held as a public event. The Festival brings together music, performance, workshops, art and collective activities, creating a space for diverse cultural expression.

At its core lies the idea of establishing an open place for exchange, participation and respectful encounters beyond urban settings.

Leiste is organized by nine young people who, alongside their studies and/or professions, dedicate their energy and creativity to this shared project.
