Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to participation in "Leiste Festival 2026", organized by "Leiste e. V.". By purchasing a ticket, you accept these Terms.
1. Scope
These Terms govern the contractual relationship between Leiste e. V. ("the organizer") and ticket buyers and festival attendees. They apply to all tickets sold for Leiste Festival 2026.
2. Tickets
Tickets can be purchased exclusively through this website. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe, Inc. After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email from Stripe; this email serves as proof of purchase. Admission is granted upon presentation of the confirmation email (digital or printed) and the name provided at the time of purchase. The organizer accepts no liability for lost confirmation emails.
3. Transfers, Withdrawal, and Cancellation
Pursuant to § 312g(2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure events tied to a specific date. Tickets are therefore non-refundable. Tickets may, however, be transferred to another person: please notify us at leistefestival@gmail.com at least 24 hours before the start of the festival, providing the new attendee's name so we can update the entry list. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the festival for important reasons or due to force majeure (severe weather, official orders, public health restrictions, or comparable events outside our control). If the festival is cancelled by the organizer for reasons within our control, ticket holders will receive a full refund. In the event of force majeure, we will refund the remaining portion of the ticket price after deducting necessary costs already incurred. Further claims — in particular for travel, accommodation, or other consequential expenses — are excluded.
4. Wristband and Küfa Card
Access to the festival grounds is permitted only with a valid wristband. The wristband is issued at the entrance upon presentation of the confirmation email and the name provided at purchase. It must be worn visibly on the wrist throughout the festival and entitles the holder to re-entry. You will additionally receive a Küfa card, which is required for the included Küfa (Küche für alle) meals. The organizer accepts no liability for lost or damaged wristbands or Küfa cards.
5. House Rules
During the festival, the organizer exercises domiciliary rights (Hausrecht). The organizer is entitled to remove from the festival grounds any person who fails to comply with the house rules, our awareness principles, or applicable law. In such cases, no refund of the ticket price will be issued.
6. Liability
Leiste e. V. is liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for damages to life, body, or health. For other damages, the organizer's liability is limited to the price of the ticket. Camping and parking on the festival grounds are at the attendee's own risk. Attendees are liable for any damages they cause.
7. Age Restrictions
Persons under the age of 16 may only attend the festival when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted only in accordance with the German Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz, JuSchG). The organizer reserves the right to verify age by requesting a valid official ID.
8. Prohibited Items
Carrying, possessing, or selling weapons, illegal substances, pyrotechnics, or other dangerous items on the festival grounds is prohibited. The organizer reserves the right to confiscate such items, refuse admission, and/or remove the persons concerned from the festival grounds.
9. Photography and Recordings
During the festival, photographs and video recordings may be taken for documentation and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform our awareness team or the photographer on site directly. We will respect your wishes and, where applicable, delete recordings.
10. Severability and Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid one. The same applies to any gaps in these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Kandel, to the extent permitted by law.
